1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of Sololander (the "Service"), a tool that generates product pages for Shopify stores. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or installing our app in your store, you accept these Terms in their entirety.
If you do not agree with any part, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to you as a subscriber of Sololander (the "User"): the person or company that pays to generate product pages. They do not govern the relationship between your store and your own end customers; that relationship is governed by your own terms and policies.
Professional contracting. By contracting the Service you declare that you do so in your capacity as a professional or trader, for use in your commercial activity, and not as an end consumer. If the law of your country grants you non-waivable rights as a consumer or as a micro or small enterprise, nothing in these Terms limits them.
2. Description of the service
Sololander generates product pages for Shopify stores, including copy, reviews, bundles, a comparison table and a frequently asked questions (FAQ) section. The content is installed in your store's theme through:
- a Shopify app (custom distribution), and
- a theme app extension that provides app blocks that render the generated sections.
The Service depends on third-party platforms (Shopify, Supabase and the payment processor). We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and we may carry out maintenance or technical changes when necessary.
3. Account and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you register and for keeping your credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must comply with the terms of Shopify and of any other platform on which you operate.
4. Plans, runs, images and limits
The Service is offered through monthly subscription plans. One "run" equals one product page generation.
| Plan | Official price (monthly) | Runs per cycle | AI images per cycle | Stores |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 USD | 3 | 0 | Unlimited |
| Growth | $49 USD | 8 | 40 | Unlimited |
| Pro | $89 USD | 20 | 120 | Unlimited |
Founder rate. During the launch we offer a founder rate with reduced monthly prices (19 / 39 / 79 USD depending on the plan), available only for the first 30 places. If you sign up with the founder rate, the following conditions apply:
- Your price is locked for life for as long as you remain an active customer. As long as you keep your subscription active, you will continue paying your founder rate even if the official price of the plan goes up.
- The lock applies only to the base price of your plan. New features, modules or add-ons that we launch later may have an additional cost and are not automatically included in the founder rate.
- If you cancel your subscription, you lose the founder rate. You can come back whenever you want, but when you subscribe again you will pay the price of the plan in force at that time.
Any other promotional price is communicated at the time of contracting and may have specific conditions.
Usage rules:
- Runs and AI images renew at the start of each billing cycle.
- Unused runs and images do NOT accumulate and are not transferred to the following cycle.
- The limits of each plan apply per account, not per store.
- We may apply reasonable technical limits to prevent abuse or overload of the Service.
Additional run packs. You can buy additional run packs as a one-off payment, processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. Run packs are consumable: they are added to your account so that you can keep generating pages, they do not renew with your cycle and they are not refundable. They are not covered by the guarantee in Section 6, which applies only to the first payment of a subscription.
5. Billing (Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record) and renewal
Payment is processed through Dodo Payments, which acts as Merchant of Record (MoR). This means that Dodo Payments is the party that charges you, issues the corresponding invoice or receipt and handles the taxes applicable to the transaction. By subscribing, you also accept the payment processor's terms.
The charge will appear on your statement under the name Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the merchant of record of the transaction and the party that carries out refunds, including the guarantee in Section 6. The Service is provided by Sololander (Carlos Andrés Rosas Curilén, identified at the beginning of these Terms).
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly cycle, at the price in force for your plan, until you cancel it.
- The charge is made in advance, at the start of each cycle.
- Prices are expressed in United States dollars (USD), unless otherwise indicated at the time of purchase. Taxes may be added depending on your jurisdiction and are determined by the Merchant of Record.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access to the Service until the situation is resolved.
6. 7-day satisfaction guarantee
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee on your first payment of a subscription. This guarantee is from Sololander and applies to your subscription to the Service; it is different from any guarantee that your own store offers to its end consumers.
What it covers: a refund of 100% of the first payment if you request it within 7 calendar days from that payment and you have generated at most 1 page (run), that is, runs_used <= 1.
What does NOT affect eligibility: publishing or installing that generated page in your store does not invalidate the guarantee. Testing the Service by generating and publishing a page is the expected use within the guarantee period.
What it does NOT cover:
- Requests made after the 7 days.
- Accounts that have generated more than 1 run (
runs_used > 1). - Renewals after the first cycle (the guarantee applies only to the first payment).
- Charges already refunded previously or cases of misuse / abuse (see Section 8).
- Purchases of run packs (one-off payment for consumables; see Section 4).
How to request it: write to us through the contact channel (Section 13), either the form at sololander.com/en/help or, if the form fails, directly to the email address contact@sololander.com, indicating your account email. We will verify usage (runs_used) and, if you meet the conditions, we will approve and process the refund through the Merchant of Record. The crediting time depends on the payment processor and on your payment method.
Exclusion of the right of withdrawal. In accordance with article 3 bis of Ley 19.496, the right of withdrawal is expressly excluded for this service contracted by electronic means. Instead, we offer the 7-day satisfaction guarantee described in this Section, which is the refund benefit that does apply to your first payment.
7. Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription whenever you want from your account or by requesting it through the contact channel.
- After cancelling, you keep access to the Service until the end of the cycle already paid for. There are no further charges.
- Outside the guarantee in Section 6, there are no pro-rated refunds for partially used cycles.
- If you have the founder rate and you cancel, you lose it: when you subscribe again you will pay the price of the plan in force at that time (see Section 4).
- What happens to your page when you cancel: when the cycle already paid for ends, the generated premium sections (reviews, FAQ, comparison, benefits and similar) are paused and stop being displayed in your store; the bundle and offer selector and the checkout keep working and nothing is deleted. In addition, a "Built with Sololander" badge appears at the foot of your page. If you subscribe again, the sections are reactivated exactly as they were.
- When the subscription ends or when the app is uninstalled, the provisions of Section 9 regarding the content and the app blocks apply.
8. Acceptable use and anti-abuse
By using Sololander, you undertake not to:
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or its output as if it were your own service or a third party's. The generated content is for use in your stores.
- Create multiple accounts to evade the limits of your plan or to repeatedly obtain the satisfaction guarantee.
- Automate the scraping or extraction of the generated output in order to replicate, rebuild or compete with the Service.
- Reverse engineer the app, the app blocks or the extension, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Use the Service for illegal or misleading content, content that infringes third-party rights or that violates the terms of Shopify or other platforms.
- Interfere with the security, the infrastructure or the operation of the Service.
Non-compliance may result in the suspension or termination of your account, without refund, and without prejudice to any other applicable actions.
9. Intellectual property and licence
- Your content: the content generated for you (copy, reviews, bundles, comparisons, FAQ) is yours to use in your store(s). You are responsible for reviewing it and for making sure it is truthful and complies with the law before publishing it.
- Our technology: the Service, the software, the Shopify app, the app blocks and the theme app extension, together with their code, design and brand, are and will remain the property of Sololander. No right over them is transferred to you beyond the limited licence of use during your subscription.
- When you uninstall the app: the app blocks stop rendering, so the generated sections stop being displayed in your store. Text that you have copied or edited on your own outside our blocks remains under your control, but the functionality provided by the extension stops being available. In addition, when you uninstall the app we start the deletion of the data associated with that store (including the access token) in accordance with our Privacy Policy, within a maximum of 30 days.
10. Data and privacy
Authentication and your account data are managed through Supabase. The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy: sololander.com/en/privacy.
By using the Service, you accept the data processing described in that policy.
11. Changes to the service and prices
- We may modify, improve or discontinue features of the Service.
- We may update these Terms; the version in force will always be available at sololander.com/en/terms, with its "Last updated" date.
- We may change prices, except as provided in Section 4 for the founder rate (your base price is locked for as long as you remain an active customer). Price changes do not affect the cycle already paid for and will apply from the next renewal, with reasonable prior notice. If you do not accept the new price, you can cancel before the renewal.
- Continued use of the Service after a change implies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Limitation of liability and absence of guarantees of commercial results
- The Service is offered "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not guarantee any commercial result. Sololander generates product pages, but does not guarantee sales, conversions, traffic, rankings, revenue or any other business result. Those results depend on multiple factors outside our control (your product, prices, marketing, market, etc.).
- Content generated by AI may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and validating it before publishing it.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for loss of profits or loss of data.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability towards you is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 (twelve) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the use of the Service shall be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago de Chile. The foregoing is without prejudice to the non-waivable rights granted to you by the law of your country of domicile. If you contract as a consumer and a mandatory rule of your country of residence provides otherwise, that rule shall prevail to the extent that it favours you, including the protections and the jurisdiction that correspond to you.
